Refactored Celebrates with Rio Tinto: Named to Kentico’s Top 10 Sites of the Month

Refactored is pleased that our client Rio Tinto has a site chosen as one of the Kentico Top 10 Websites for January 2018.

Kentico selected our website rejuvenation project for Rio Tinto’s 20 Mule Team Borax Agriculture Division as one of the standout sites of the month. As a Kentico Gold Partner, we are honored to have our client held up as an example along with top national and international brands.

Refactored is working with Rio Tinto on a multi-phased effort to transform their Borax website and associated market sites into Kentico-EMS based, purpose-driven, content-oriented websites.

Creating a Customer-Centered Website

Like many organizations today, Borax has a long history, deep expertise, and a rich set of resources, but much of that value was hidden before. A customer-centered approach brings that value to the surface, allowing site visitors to easily connect to the benefits that the company offers to them.

"The Kentico platform supports dynamic storytelling and provides a flexible platform for implementing any kind of creative or interactive solution that our clients require.”
 — Rob Bean, Refactored Partner | Marketing Strategist

Refactored began the effort with an initial focus on the Borax Agriculture market website, which represents a large portion of Borax revenues.

In the first phase of the project, we have updated the Borax website architecture, design, content, and video. Refactored implemented Kentico EMS functionalities—leveraging community registration, newsletter and blog subscriptions, personalization, and localized content (English and Portuguese today and soon Spanish and Asian languages)—to bring users closer to the brand.

The microsite is the beginning of a marketing transformation for Borax, which saw a 40.6% increase in unique organic sessions on the Agriculture site in just three months.
