Salvation Army of Loveland Angel Tree Program

The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need through the support of donors like you. Once a child has been registered as an “Angel,” The Salvation Army makes a promise to provide Christmas for that child. This promise includes a variety of gifts for each child in support of our primary mission: to meet human need without discrimination.

Colorado Kitty Coalition

The Colorado Kitty Coalition is a FOSTER-BASED non-profit organization that rescues and provides medical and social care for kittens and cats. We then find them a loving family and ensure they are the perfect match. Our focus is to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and socialize kittens and cats in foster homes that we rescue from a variety of at-risk situations such as strays, kill shelters, and overcrowded homes.

Northern Colorado Aids Project

Northern Colorado AIDS Project (NCAP) provides services to those with HIV/AIDS in a mostly rural, eight-county area of Northern Colorado through key community partnerships, counseling, educational programs, affordable care, and case management. Services are provided at no cost, and are offered without regard to age, sex, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender expression.

Larimer County Humane Society

Larimer Humane Society is an independent non-profit dedicated to promoting and providing the responsible care and treatment of animals. As Northern Colorado’s largest open-admission animal care facility, we provide shelter, medical attention, and care to thousands of lost, abandoned, injured, abused, ill, and orphaned animals each year. We also provide contracted, full-service animal control across the county.

Homeward Alliance

Homeward Alliance operates a continuum of programs and initiatives ranging from critical survival gear, to employment services, to homelessness prevention. We are a collaborative alliance of services, volunteers, donors, agency partners, and other community stakeholders. We envision a community in which homelessness is rare, short-lived, and non-recurring, where all individuals and families should have a stable place to call home.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States. NSBE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1975, supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology. NSBE’s mission is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

Skateistan is an award-winning international non-profit organization which empowers children through skateboarding and education in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa. By combining skateboarding with creative, arts-based education, they give children the opportunity to become leaders for a better world. Their focus is on groups who are often excluded from sports and educational opportunities, especially girls, children living with disabilities and those from low-income backgrounds. KUNC

KUNC is a community-licensed public radio station, operated by Community Radio for Northern Colorado, Inc., a 501(c)(3), Colorado non-profit organization. CRNC came into existence in the winter of 2001 when a group of community volunteers raised $2 million in 20 days to purchase KUNC's license from the University of Northern Colorado and preserve the station's independent voice.

Since 2002, Radiolab has been devoted to investigating a strange world. Created by Jad Abumrad and hosted by Jad and Robert Krulwich, Radiolab has won multiple awards including Peabody Awards and a National Academies Communication Award for “investigative use of radio to make science accessible to broad audiences.” In 2011, Abumrad received the MacArthur Genius grant.
